Blog storms …

October 4, 2008

I am writing a monthly column for KM world which is interesting, the 700-1000 word format is a good one. As a part of that I recently wrote a brief article outlining a way to use multiple parallel blogging to create content (in WIki’s) without ownership issues. Its part of a series and you can see all of them here. The latest hints at links between complexity and object orientation. It’s probably better to read the whole sequence, but each can stands in isolation from the others. In deference to Euan I should really title this a storm of blog posts. As we walked away from this picture yesterday he reminded me that one posts, one does not blog. However I’ve published now so I can’t change it. I’d also argue that I am talking about multiple blogs (with posts)!

Euan is the one dressed for an English autumn, the other guy is Luis Suarez and you can tell from his trousers and shoes that he is used to a hotter climate. The location is Avebury just up the road form where I live. Interesting conversations there on Saturday, which followed a fascinating session at the University of Sussex on Friday and preceded a great dinner this evening near Munich with a bunch of academics. We are all here for a three day session on complex adaptive systems and by great good fortune we have the three main editors (and the editor emeritus) of E:CO here. All three days deserve blogs but most of my spare time was taken up with travel and sorting out insurance companies re daughter’s car. I hope to catch up this week.
