Living in Scarlet

May 20, 2008

Anther design hotel for those of you interested in these things. This time in the heart of Singapore, close to the red dot traffic building with its great cafe and also to the location of the best dumplings to be had in this capital city of diverse cuisines (the Qun Zhong Easting House, 21 Neil Road for those interested). The Scarlet Hotel has, as you might expect a dominant colour! It’s friendly, the quality is good although the corridors a long and soulless between rooms. Overall a good place to stay and well located. On balance I think the Gallery Hotel is better but not by much and its not as well located.
