Summer School slides and links

July 4, 2014

Final day of the Summer School in Copenhagen and I had two sessions to run.  The first over three hours in the morning covered complexity, safe-to-fail interventions followed by a shorted presentation in the afternoon where I picked up on Cynefin and the complex and chaotic domain models.    The latter was a little rushed given I had half an hour!  The slides for both are now published for those looking for them.  For those who want more background this post is a summary with links to all the domain models.  I need to update it a bit but it should meet the need of those who wanted more detail.

Several people wanted to pick up on SenseMaker® and possibly run a trial.  If that is the case then email me and I will respond.  Attractor, the host for the Summer School have people we have trained as well and are running their first pilot projects.

The real pain on the final day is that I had no time to spend listening to other people and unlike my Wednesday session the paired speaking did not really work on Friday as we were in very different spaces.  However I was pleasantly surprised by the whole event.  After the first day it went from being another booking to something where I was getting some heavy learning and challenges which is always good news.   The contrast between the subject and the Neo-Stalinist and seemingly random architecture of the area around Ørestad could not have been greater however!

I picked up, and swapped articles with several other speakers so expect more in future posts.
