Nina completed an internship with the Cynefin Centre in mid-2021 and has officially joined the team as a researcher and trainee SenseMaker practitioner and part of the Centre’s Health Programme.

Nina holds an MPH in health systems from the University of Cape Town and is currently doing a cotutelle PhD in Exercise, Nutrition, and Health Sciences between the University of Cape Town and the University of Bristol. Her PhD explores what social network mechanisms are at play in scaling-up and sustaining physical activity and diet community-based programmes. Her research interests include health promotion, non-communicable diseases, disability studies, and complexity of health systems.
