Storytelling in Nigeria – A Policy Development Programme and Monitoring
SenseMaker® Use Case
Use Case Description
Use Case Details

Anecdote Circles were used to help Embedded Advisers (EA) make sense of their work as introducers of change in the Nigerian government client ministries. This was a story-based approach to monitoring primarily for the benefit of the EAs – to listen to and learn about stories from each other, and to conclude with agreed actions, ensuring others outside the Anecdote Circles do not re-interpret the stories after the data has been collected.

Client: Policy Development Facility Phase II (PDF II), managed by Development Alternatives Incorporated (DAI) and run by the Programme Management Unit (PMU)
