As authoritarianism grows and ‘alternative facts’ pass for information, it’s never been more important to root out the conditions that allow corruption to grow. By asking for the voices of many within a community rather than the voice of a few leaders, we maximise our potential to catch it out. Corruption can be embedded by a bad leader, or a culture of ‘looking the other way’ but there are always those who attempt to whistleblow. How are they treated, and how is dissent treated? A healthy organisation with nothing to hide responds to constructive criticism and calls for monitoring without aggression. This is not true for companies with something to hide. So how is concern treated, and do leaders have the negative traits that inspire corruption? This SenseMaker® Pulse is designed to detect embedded or emergent corruption culture. Using narrative analysis and weak signal detection, you can discover whether integrity or dishonesty is likely to flourish.
