Christopher Zhong holds a Ph.D. in computer science with a focus on multiagent systems and software engineering.

As a scientist, he is passionate about data analytics and visually showing the results as graphs or charts; there is just something about looking at graphs and charts. He has an interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI), especially on how it can improve existing processes.

As a software engineer, he is particularly fond of the Agile development process. He has no preference for any methodology, although, he is most familiar with Scrum. He subscribes to the philosophy of `fail-fast, pivot, and try something else` when it comes to software development. He considers testing (unit, integration, functional, etc.) to be integral to the development process, particularly automated testing. When it comes to deployment, he advocates for Continuous Delivery (CD).
